About
Antonio received B.Eng. and M.Eng. degrees in Industrial Engineering from University of Seville in 2018 and 2021, respectively. He has also received the Diplôme d'Ingénieur Généraliste and the Master of Aerospace Engineering in 2021 from École Centrale Lyon, under a double degree program with the University of Seville.
Currently, Antonio is a PhD student at the GRVC Robotics Laboratory of the University of Seville, led by Prof. Anibal Ollero. His main research interests are in control of aerial manipulation under aerodynamics effects (ground effect, ceiling effect)
Project
His project focuses on how to improve the control of the aerial platform and the manipulator under these aerodynamics effects that appear when flying close to objects, walls etc.
Some of the project objectives are to:
-
develop a new resilient cognitive control framework including machine learning techniques to adapt the robot to these situations.
-
develop a control strategy that takes into account the coupling between air flows and flexible solids, such as trees, cables or arms with elastic joints.
