About

Gerasimos received his Integrated MSc degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, in 2021 from the University of Patras.

 

During his studies, he had the opportunity to work with the Group of Translational Neurology at the Department of Pharmacology (medical school of Athens), where he participated in a few research projects and completed his MSc thesis. After that, he was employed for a year by Nokia Greece as an Automation/Test Engineer where he gained experience within the company's R&D group.

 

Currently, Gerasimos is an Industrial Ph.D. student working at Ericsson Research while enrolled at Lulea University of Technology.

 

 

Project

Gerasimos project focuses on UAV connectivity and positioning using 5G technologies. The project's objectives revolve around optimizing robust UAV positioning and connectivity without compromising any other UAV functionalities.
